About Melinda Schriver

Founder and CEO

Like so many adult children, I found myself navigating uncharted territory when my parents reached their 80s. When they made it clear they wouldn’t leave their home, I faced a reality so many families do: how to honor their wishes while keeping them safe.

nHome was born from my own family's aging in place journey. My role as family caregiver for my parents inspired me to help others age with dignity at home. I became their advocate, planner and problem-solver, modifying their home for safety, coordinating care, managing medications, and leveraging technology for easier communication. This experience drives my commitment to helping families like yours.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations – spanning hospitals, clinics, and physician practices – I specialize in helping seniors and families navigate the journey of aging at home. My work blends healthcare system insight with practical care coordination and advanced training in aging in place strategies and digital health innovation. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), I help families create comprehensive plans that honor independence while ensuring safety.

This work is deeply personal to me. My parents lived their final years in their home, surrounded by familiar memories and in control of their lives. I want that for your family, too.
